Even though I’ve been in the noteworthy and credible underground hip-hop group, Styles of Beyond, who garnered a ton of press in the late 90′s, I was rarely mentioned in the articles. I rarely take myself seriously. When I first started Fire Poo (the world’s first DJ/Hot-Wing networking event) it came from a very sarcastic, immature, 5th-grade-ha-ha-hee-hee sort of place. Yes, it was realistic to hang out with a few DJ pals on a weeknight while drinking white-trash beer and eating unhealthy, un-boned, fried parts of a chicken. When I got hired to be the DJ for The New Kids on the Block, I knew one thing – I HAD to document it! There was NO WAY I was going to embark on such a journey and not have any footage. So for every event – from the three sold-out shows at Radio City Music Hall to the NKOTB cruise to the Bahamas I had my mediocre Flip camera.
